THE BIRTH OF ORTOFFICINA, THE CHOICE OF BIODYNAMICS
In 2010 we created a farm in the hills of Bologna, choosing biodynamics to increase the quality and purity of our formulas. This agricultural method, conceived by Rudolf Steiner in 1924, uses only the sun, oxygen, water, moon phases and natural compounds,completely eliminating synthetic substances. The estate is a self-sufficientliving organism, where bees and animals provide an indispensable contribution to fertilize the soil and pollinate the plants.
OUR MODEL OF RESPECT: UPCYCLING AND CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Ortofficina is the faithful, instantaneous and unfiltered photograph of what we do. It is upcycling, recycling and concrete circularity: within it we concretize our idea ofrecycling and requalification, reusing all resources (such as the exhausted parts of plants) and giving them a second life.
Aware of the extraordinary benefit of biodynamics for the environment, we have encouraged its diffusion to other agricultural producers: we are certifiersof small and medium-sized companies that contribute to the quality of our supply chain, responsible like us for a plot of land to which fertility and nourishment can be restored.
